Mobility plans & strategies

Our expert team integrates analysis with practical implementation pathways to create forward-thinking transport strategies and Local Transport Plans to transform communities. We balance stakeholder needs, environmental considerations, and economic priorities to develop plans that enhance connectivity and create sustainable growth.

Walking & cycling

From conducting pedestrian and cycle audits to designing traffic calming measures, we develop active travel strategies that enable people to walk and cycle for shorter journeys. We consult with the public and stakeholders to co-design strategies that aim to transforming communities into places where walking and cycling become the natural choice for everyday journeys.

Transport research & evaluation

Robust research is central to generating the meaningful insights needed to design transport networks that meet people’s needs. Our qualitative and quantitative research capabilities have been used to gather insights into a range of transport challenges, and we’re regularly appointed to independently evaluate the impacts of new transport schemes.

Business case and funding

Rigorous economic analysis and value-for-money assessments are essential when creating compelling business cases that meet government requirements and community needs. From early-stage strategic outline cases to final business cases, we navigate the complex funding processes - identifying appropriate funding sources, quantifying benefits, managing risks, and demonstrating deliverability.

Investments that work for people in our complex, fast-changing world

As transport planners, we work with our clients to develop mobility strategies and plans for towns, cites and regions that support broader economic and social visions for their communities. We do this in a way that balances ambitions for growth with the critical environmental challenges facing society. This means developing robust evidence and working with stakeholders to develop transport plans and to make the case for investments that work for people in our complex, fast-changing world.
