Part of Haskoning, our UK-based team focuses on facilitating walking, cycling, and public transport use for people’s everyday journeys. ITP and Haskoning

New team

2020 - ITP and Haskoning join forces

ITP became part of the Haskoning family, creating a sustainable, multi-disciplinary UK-based transport planning and engineering practice. The combined team leverages ITP's strengths in sustainable transport planning and Haskoning’s complementary expertise in active travel, smart mobility, and engineering to address future mobility challenges by helping to shape the sustainable transport networks of tomorrow.

2018 - Small Business of the Year

ITP was voted 'Small Business of the Year' at the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce's annual business awards, recognised for a commitment to delivering sustainable transport projects in the UK and overseas.

2014 - Back-to-back CIHT Sustainability Award wins

ITP won the CIHT Sustainability Award in 2013 and 2014 for delivering and evaluating two behaviour change programmes in Lowestoft, Suffolk, and Leicestershire.

Merger

2012 – Royal Haskoning and DHV join forces

Royal Haskoning and DHV merged to accelerate their international expansion strategies, becoming Royal HaskoningDHV, and later Haskoning.

Acquisition

2007 – Denis Wilson Partnership acquired by Royal Haskoning

Royal Haskoning acquired Denis Wilson Partnership, marking the start of its UK transport consultancy operations.

2005 - Nottingham office opens

ITP’s Nottingham office opened, supporting numerous local behaviour change, public transport, and transport strategy projects for clients in the East Midlands and the north of England.

1998 - New kids on the block

Formed in 1998 by Colin Brader, ITP worked with a growing number of national and local governments, international donor banks, private sector developers, and public transport operators to deliver project that meet the needs of local people. We’re proud to still be delivering on the philosophy set out all those years ago.
